I worked on a bunch of questions out of Lesson 3 and Mid-Unit review ... am prepared for the test. Out of interest, what is your favourite platonic solid? I think I have a cross between the octahedron (because it just looks so ... mathy and ancient greek) and the icosahedron (its complexity) but I also love the dodecahedron (Interesting name) and I like to say it over and over again ... dodecahedron, dodecahedron, dodecahedron ...
I'm proud of you for studying for the test! I will mark it this weekend and let you know how you did on Monday. I personally like the icosahedron because it reminds me of a jewel from a myth or quest. It reminds me of a jewel you would see in a story like "Lord of the Rings" or "The Sword in the Stone". The front view of an icosahedron also reminds me of the Christmas star!
