  2. I just finished reading the book Special Edward, (awesome book) and I found one part very interesting. Elizabeth, a girl in Edward's math class, and Special Education class is telling Ed that being 'Special' doesn't mean you're not smart. She mentions that Albert Einstein dropped out of high school and failed his university entrance exam. She also says that Leonardo da Vinci, Edison, Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy were all learning disabled. Now, whether or not this is true, or if Eric Walters just made it up for the sake of his book, I found it very intereseting that all of these so called "genius'" were learning disabled and struggled in school.
After I finished this book, I came to check if there was anything new on the blog because I had nothing better to do (because it is pouring rain, thunder and lightning outside), I came across this post "Archimedes the Great Mathematician" and it made me wonder if he was also learning disabled.
I don't know why, but I found these facts (?) uplifting just to know that some of the smartest people the world has ever seen are learning disabled.
Just to add onto this comment I think it is very fitting to add a quote from Eric Walters at the back of the book in the Authors Note:
"Everybodyhas abilities. Everybody has disabilities. Nobody is good at everything, and everybody is good at something. The secret is to accept that while we may need help in overcoming our weaknessses, that we are not defined by what we can't do but by what we CAN do."- Eric Walters
I really enjoyed this book, and I strongly recommend it to everyone.
