Camels and Bananas
A camel has to carry 3,000 bananas across a 1,000 mile dessert. There are two conditions: 1. The camel can only carry 1,000 bananas at a time. 2. The camel eats one banana for each mile he travels. What is the maximum number of bananas that will reach the other side of the desert? What if you have three camels?
OK I FOUND THIS RANDOM WAY OF DIVISION AND IT INVOLVES FRACTIONS!!!!
ReplyDeleteso first u take your division sentence and make it into a fraction ex: 10 divided by 2= 10/2.
Now u simplify your fraction down as far as u can
10/2= 5/1. Once u have your simplified your fraction u take the numerator as your answer
10 divided 2= 5 and 5/1 is 5!!!
this is a new way of division
Try it with less simple numbers. Does it still work??
